Let's Talk are a set of 78 cards that have been designed, tried and tested for use with all groups to promote meaningful discussion. They can be used as a therapeutic activity, as a warm up in any type of group or simply as cues for discussion.

Consisting of three basic themes the cards will encourage people to talk about themselves, their lives, their feelings, their likes and dislikes. They also incorporate the concept of reminiscence therapy by using short sentences as prompts, making the cards ideal for use with elderly people. The cues and questions have been deliberately formulated to be short, simple and unthreatening. The cards are printed in large, bold type so that they can be read easily by people with minimal visual impairment.

Through the use of Let's Talk and the facilitator's ability to promote group discussion as a fun activity, participants can be assessed on various functional and cognitive levels in a relaxed atmosphere. This can sometimes reveal underlying problems or attitudes not previously noted.

Includes: The pack is divided into the following three themes:
